CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on February 24th, 2015.
The Polish developer also revealed the contents of the game's standard edition and Collector's Edition. Players who choose the standard edition will get:
- A copy of the game.
- Official soundtrack.
- Witcher Universe: The Compendium.
- A map of the game world.
- Unique stickers.
- A protective sleeve.
Those who opt for the Collector's Edition will get all of that plus:
- A 33x24x26 cm, 100% hand painted, Polystone figure of Geralt battling a griffin.
- A medallion.
- Steelbook.
- Two hundred page artbook.
Pricing for the Collector's Edition has yet to be revealed. CD Projekt RED made the announcement as part of their pre-E3 press conference in which they also released the trailer below.
The studio also confirmed that there will be no platform exclusive content for the game, reiterating previous comments.
The Witcher Adventure, a broad game, is also being developed for PC and Mac with the title coming later this year. CD Projekt is currently accepting sign-ups for a closed beta on GOG Galaxy and there's a trailer below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will be the last game in the series to feature Geralt but CD Projekt RED has hinted that the franchise might continue without him.
