Japanese publisher Capcom has announced that it plans to bring Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy to the west. The Ace Attorney Trilogy is a compilation of the series’ first three entries, which star Phoenix Wright (as opposed to Apollo Justice), and was previously available in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.
For those unfamiliar with the series and the setting, players take on the role of titular hero Phoenix Wright as he defends the innocent in a parody of Japanese courtrooms.
The Ace Attorney Trilogy is more than just a re-release, however, as it contains new high-resolution re-drawn graphics and immersive 3D visuals designed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS system.
“Join rookie lawyer Phoenix Wright through the early years of his career in his quest to find the truth behind all of the classic cases! Prepare for intense courtroom showdowns by investigating crime scenes, collecting evidence, and questioning witnesses. Use evidence and the testimonies of witnesses to your advantage as you battle for the innocence of your client. Nothing less of a full acquittal will do in this court of law.”
It’s tough being a Japanese lawyer, so Phoenix Wright has his job cut out for him.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be available through the Nintendo eShop.
