The official trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has arrived ahead of E3 and shows off combat, large scale envrionments, and online play.
Monster Hunter 4 will, for the first time, be able to play online with their friends on a handheld device thanks to the Nintendo Network or through the previously available local wireless play option.
Capcom says there will be hundreds of quests to complete, new locations, a wider action set – including the chance to ride monsters and both vertical and lateral movements – two new weapon classes, and both original and returning monsters in what they call the "most robust" Monster Hunter to date.
We have some screenshots of the game here. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launches on 2DS and 3DS devices in early 2015.
