Cloud Imperium Games has just released the Arena Commander dogfighting mode for Star Citizen meaning those who have backed the game will now be able to fly into space.
The mode was delayed as CIG removed some bugs and now that the issues have been ironed out Arena Commander is now available.
To accompany the launch, CIG released a trailer and some screens and concept art which you can check out below. There's also a rather cool Pilot's Guide here and the studio's Chris Roberts has spoken about what they're hoping to do with Arena Commander.
While the full game's release is still some way off, this is looks to be a pretty good stopgap to keep fans busy until then.
