Crytek USA has announced a new four-player cooperative shooter called Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. It’s a Western-inspired game that sees players battling loads of horrific creatures in a Gilded Age setting.
In the game’s press release, Crytek confirmed that the game will be coming to both the PC and next-gen consoles for free, and will be showcased at the upcoming E3 2014 event that’s set to take place in Los Angeles next week.
This third-person action game sees four players fending off against waves of nightmarish creatures in the 1800s using a wide array of weaponry from that period, along with procedurally generated enemy waves and bosses.
David Adams, CEO of Crytek USA Corp said in a statement, “In Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, players will be counting their bullets and crying out for help as they delve deeper into the shadowy world we’ve created. From the outset of the development process, we’ve poured our imaginations into the game so that everyone who plays HUNT will discover a challenging experience that feels fresh, captivating and rich in possibilities.”
