New H1Z1 Screenshot Depicts An AR15-Wielding Survivor

May 30, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

A survivor takes up arms against a zombie in this screenshot of H1Z1.

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has published a single new screenshot of their upcoming survival online game, H1Z1, which sees players survive the ravages of the zombie apocalypse.

The screenshot depicts a man firing his gun at a zombie from point-blank range.

The game will see players banding together to face off against the zombie hordes in a kind of open world setting of the North American wilderness.

Unlike the ruleless and ruthless setting of DayZ, H1Z1 will emphasize player cooperation, trading, and team-building. Players will have to cooperate to survive the zombies instead of butting heads with each other.

The game is slated for a late 2014 release on both PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
