We have some roughly translated notes for hotfix v. 1.06 of Dark Souls 2. We don’t vouch for 100 % accuracy, but most of this is straightforward so hopefully, errors are negligible. Just so you know, we will pass over the stuff that’s not so clear. Barring an official English translation, you can check the roug translation in the source above.
- The Bat Poison effect has been modified. Dark Fog interactions are gone, and PROCs occur only after melee strikes.
- Avelyn tracking has been modified. It takes longer to reload and damage has been reduced.
- Santier’s Spear damage has been reduced, and its stamina use has been modified.
- Defense values for Cale’s Shoes and Leather’s Armor have been modified.
- Abyss Ring damage multiplier has been modified.
- Great Resonant Soul damage has been reduced.
- Wrath of God damage has been reduced.
- Resonant Weapon flat increase has been modified, presumably reduced.
- Flame Weapon flat increase has been modified, presumably reduced.
- The Power Stance glitch found in Ultrageats and Bandit Axes has been fixed.
- The Enchanted upgrade path has been modified.
- Spell duration has been modified, for some spells.
- The parry animation for the Monastery Scimitar has been modified.
Again, remember that this isn’t strictly a patch, but rather a hotfix update. The update will apparently arrive June 2 for Windows, PS3 and Xbox 360.
