Gaijin Entertainment's War Thunder: Ground Zeroes will be arriving on PlayStation 4 on 4th June in North America and 5th June in Europe as part of the regular PlayStation Store weekly update.
Since the release of War Thunder on PS4 in November, the PC version has seen numerous updates and now the Ground Forces expansion is finally rolling onto the console version.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Gaijin's PR chief Alexander Trifonov commented:
"This exciting addition allows the players to control armored vehicles such as tanks and anti-air guns which are fighting AI and player-controlled planes in some of the game modes, simulating the realities of war where different army branches always supplemented each other in battles.
"But it’s not about armored vehicles only – all of the other features found in the latest 1.41 version of the game are included as well: 350 different planes, squadron battles, more than 150 multiplayer missions and many other improvements."
