Maleficent And Merida Confirmed For Disney Infinity 2.0

May 29, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Get a little jolly when you buy and play with your own personal Jolie.

Disney Interactive has finally confirmed Maleficent, along with Merida from Brave, will be joining the cast of Disney Infinity 2.0.

As you may have expected, they have based Infinity Maleficent on the Angelina Jolie version, based on this year’s live action reimagining. She’s wearing the dark cloak we remember from Sleeping Beauty, although I’m still holding out hope we get the version of her with wings, horns and the works.

Sharp eyed fans have pointed out that both Maleficent and Merida, as well as Stitch, actually appeared in the Marvel Super Heroes reveal trailer, but still, it’s good to finally get that confirmation.

Of course, Disney still won’t confirm the big franchise for this crossover franchise, Kim Possible Star Wars. Still, I’m glad to see Stitch and Merida make the jump, and hope it means Disney will dip back into more classic characters in the future. Lassie Well Rescue game, here we go!

If you want to test your eyes, you can watch the original 2.0 Announce trailer and look for the three here.
