The gameplay trailer for Battlefield Hardline has been leaked way ahead of schedule. Originally intended for release at this year’s E3 2014, the trailer, which showcases a game, code-named Omaha (Battlefield Hardline) contains extensive gameplay footage and details into each of the game’s modes and features.
The game was originally unveiled yesterday as Battlefield Hardline after word of its existence was leaked through the series official website, where it was listed for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
Like the newer Battlefield games, Battlefield Hardline contains a single player story designed by Visceral Games, best known for their work on the Dead Space series, cribbing from television dramas and playing out in an episodic fashion, replete with cliffhanger endings and all. The trailer claims that the game is influenced by TV shows like Justified, and features TV actors.
In multiplayer, players will take on squad-based missions to play as cops or robbers in bank heists and chases.
"All of this destruction and and mayhem, along with having multiple Levolution events, effecting maps and gameplay makes Omaha the most visually diverse Battlefield yet," the narrator says.
EA Games is set to officially unveil the game at E3 2014, along with five other titles.
