Super Game Jam Episode 1 Now on Steam

May 23, 2014 by Yesika Reyes

The first episode of the indie game development documentary is now available.

According to a press release, the premiere episode of the documentary series Super Game Jam is now available on Steam. It is filmed in five cities in the span of six month and two indie developers are paired for 48 hours to create a game based on a theme together.

"The debut episode features two developers that are longtime friends but have never had the opportunity to work together: JW Nijman (Ridiculous Fishing, LUFTRAUSERS) and Richard Boeser (Ibb and Obb) and chronicles the pair as they explore the concept of 'breaking up' and the various ways the concept can be represented in game design. The engaging collaboration of the two developers results in an exceptionally unique racing game based on the dynamic between a driver and a navigator, aptly titled Navigator, now playable via the Super Game Jam application," the episode is described.

The games and the episodes will be bundled for the price of $19.99. However, you can separately purchase the games these developers created prior to the documentary. These are Luftrausers by Vlambeer and pre purchasing two copies of ibb & obb.
