Call of Duty fans who happen to have Steam and some Mac Pros are in for a treat. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 to 3 is now available for Mac, via Steamplay.
This deal is available via Aspyre on their GameAgent online store. Getting the Steamplay version means you get the game for both Windows and Mac, for the price of one game. Not only that, but you get the benefit of cross-platform play, so you aren't cordoned to other Mac players. You can also get the DLC from previous games too.
If you happen to be one of those core fans who sprang extra for one of those fancy Mac Pros, we get it, your computer can handle much more than this. Unfortunately, the slow stream of games to the Mac is at least as much Apple’s fault as it is the developers’, but at least Steam has emerged to be the equalizer. Cross your fingers that more console games find their way to your computer of choice, and who knows? If it sells well, you might get COD Ghosts and Advanced Warfare sooner rather than later.
