During a Reddit AMA session, Tony Hawk video game fans were in a frenzy after the man himself Tony Hawk teased the possibility of another skateboarding game coming to newer consoles in the future.
"There is a CHANCE of something in the future for newer consoles. In the meanwhile, we are releasing TH Shred Sessions for mobile devices (iOS, Android, tablets) soon-ish. I'm going rogue with information at this point so I better shut up now," the skateboard legend divulged during the AMA.
We can only assume that he meant the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when he said newer consoles since he differentiated iOS and Android as mobile devices. It's been a long time since an original Tony Hawk game was released on consoles. This February, Activision confirmed that they are indeed working on a new Tony Hawk game but details were unspecified then.
A lot of people speculate that it will return to its Pro Skater roots, but nothing is set in stone for now.
