According to Polygon, The Stanley Parable writer Davey Wreden told the website that the game's narrator is now available as an announcer in Dota 2.
The Stanley Parable's announcer pack for Dota 2 was revealed late last year. Dota 2 also has a several other announcer packs that feature narrators and voices from popular games like the one from Bastion's, Dr. Kleiner from Half-Life, and GLaDOS from the Portal series.
"The pack inserts the Narrator and his particular brand of sardonic meta-commentary into Dota 2, rendering the game not only understandable but even downright accessible to the common layperson," Wreden told Polygon.
The pack is priced at $10, but you can get it at a 10 percent discount if you get it withing the first 48 hours of the promo. The Stanley Parable will also be available for half price this weekend on Steam to coincide with the pack's release.
The game is largely successful and has sold over 100,000 copies in its first three days of release.
