We look at some new information regarding Halo 5 in the leadup to E3. Why is that relevant? Apparently there will be a tech demo of the game just before said event.
Our source brings up talking to Halo devs about some DLC decisions made for Halo 4. For one, they remade the Pit, and they also opted not to add vehicles into the game. It basically boiled down to fan feedback. For this reason, he thinks Microsoft needs to go the extra mile to grab gamers’ attention, especially gamers who had fallen out of favor with newer Halo games, and get them excited for Halo 5.
So, if the rumor is true, Microsoft will actually have an event June 9, a day before E3. Alongside that Halo 5 tech demo, there will allegedly be some gameplay trailers for these games:
· Beyond Good and Evil 2
· Fable Legends
· Forza Horizon 2
· Gears of War 4
· Call of Duty Advanced Warfare
· Quantum Break
· Star Wars Battlefront III
· Titanfall (DLC)
So there is all of this, as well as a trailer for Direct X12, and a trailer for Kinect, TV and shows. All of these will be for Xbox One. And there’s a chance we will see something for Halo 3 Anniversary, although this rumor is separate and really sketchy at best.
Finally, let’s take a look at the Halo 4 and 5 teaser trailers. Some fans have pointed to some similarities between the two, and while I personally don’t think this could mean anything, it’s interesting to watch and compare. With that in mind, we’re sharing our source to compare the two below.
