Watch Dogs has an insane 9 special editions to choose from, and this does not even count the Wii U release, which has yet to be dated, or the season pass. Thankfully, some of these special editions are limited by region. For the sake of avoiding confusion, we’ll run down your options with you below. We’ll try to share just enough information so you don’t get bogged down in detail. It should be just enough for you to know if it’s available in your region, and for you to know which version has what.
1. DEDSEC Edition (EU, Middle East, Asia, Australia)
This version is bundles with the 23 cm Aiden Pierce figure, a Steelbook, collector’s box, artbook, OST, map, 4 collectibly AR capable cards, and 3 badges. It also comes with 3 single player missions worth 60 minutes gameplay: Palace Pack, Singature Shot, and Breakthrough Pack.
2. Vigilante Edition (NA)
This version is bundled with a collector’s box, a baseball cap, a mask, and the soundtrack. It also has the Palace Pack. In the US, this is exclusive to Gamestop.
3. Vigilante Edition (EU, Middle East, Asia, Australia)
This version is bundled with a collector’s box, a baseball cap, a mask, and the soundtrack. It also has the Palace Pack.
4. Special (NA)
This version comes with the Breakthrough Pack and no other physical items.
5. Special Edition (Australia, NZ)
The Special Edition has nothing extra bundled with it physically. Instead, it comes with exclusive DLC; the Breakthrough Pack.
6. Limited Edition (NA)
The Limited Edition comes with the figurine, the soundtrack, steelbook, artbook, collector’s box, and mask. Different retailers offer one extra DLC pack, each one different for each retailer.
7. Uplay Deluxe Edition
This one is a digital edition, and comes with much of the DLC, including Breakthrough Pack, Palace Pack, Signature Shot, Untouchables, Cyberpunk, Blue Agent, and DedSec Pack.
8. Uplay Exclusive Edition
This one comes with everything in the Deluxe Edition, save the White Hat pack, and the cap. This one is a physical release.
9. Gold Edition
This one is digital, exclusive to Playstation platforms, and includes a Season Pass, which we will detail below.
10. Season Pass
The Season Pass can be purchased separately from the game itself, a good option if you don’t want to be driven crazy by the bundles and don’t care about physical items. It gets players all the content in the Uplay Editions, as well as T-Bone’s Single Player, and Conspiracy Mode Digital Trip DLC.
One last thing: ordering any of these editions for a Playstation console gets you the White Hat Pack too. The only other way to get the White Hat Pack (now, it’s a timed exclusive) is to get the Digital Deluxe or Uplay Deluxe Edition
