Halo 4 art director Kenneth Scott has left 343 Industries to join virtual reality firm Oculus, the company's Twitter account has revealed.

Scott will focus on developing first party applications and games for the Oculus Rift headset. Prior to this move, he spent six years at 343 Industries and a decade at id Software, whose parent company Zenimax Media is currently suing Oculus, accusing id co-founder John Carmack of stealing technology when he departed to join the VR firm.
Scott joins other industry veterans at Oculus such as Atman Binstock, Michael Abrash, and Aaron Nicholls from Valve as well as Matt Hooper from id.
Sony announced its Oculus Rift rival Project Morpheus in March and we'll likely see a lot more of both systems in the years to come.
