Swords & Soldiers HD Coming to WIi U Next Week

The HD adaptation of the classic 2D RTS is coming to Europe and North America.

The HD adaptation of Ronimo Games' Swords & Soldiers will be released on the Wii U eShop in both Europe and North America at the same time on May 22nd.

The adaptation is developed by Two Tribe, while the original was made by Ronimo Games. The original was made available on other platforms like Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, Wii, PlayStation 3, iOS and 3DS in 2009. No word for Two Tribe if they will be porting elsewhere.

It will cost €2.99 / $2.99 and it will make the most ouf of the gamepad functionality in the Wii U, Interestingly, Ronimo announced that they are making a full-fledged sequel to Swords & Soldiers.
