According to a tweet from Disney Infinity, Sleeping Beauty's foe Maleficent will be joining Disney Infinity's roster pretty soon.
The game's Twitter account released an unmistakable silhouette of the character today. It is definitely Maleficent considering her trademark horns and the fact that her eponymous film will be released by the end of the month. Her inclusion is most likely a tie-in to the live-action film that is a re-telling of Sleeping Beauty's tale through Maleficent's perspective.

It would be interesting if Angelina Jolie will be lending her voice and likeness to the character to increase the connection between the game and the film. Most tie-in material usually use the same voice and likeness of the characters. Since we only have a teaser so far, we just have to wait and see if Jolie will be on board.
We recently reported that Disney Interactive reported a surge in profits.
Disney Infinity launched last August for PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.
