Square Enix has announced that its classic JRPG, Final Fantasy 3, will soon be headed to Steam.
Originally released in 1990, the game was the first in the series to become a million-unit seller in Japan and saw a remake as a Nintendo DS title in 2007, when Western and international gamers finally got their hands on it. The game is not to be confused with Final Fantasy VI, which was released in the West as Final Fantasy 3 way back in the day.
The PC version of the game is an upgrade over its Nintendo DS counterpart, and contains new 3D visuals and story sequences, according to the publisher. It will also include Steam Trading Cards, achievements, and new visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards.
