Trilobyte Games Announce Licensing Deal for 7th Guest

May 7, 2014 by Yesika Reyes

The 7th Guest gets a new crowdfunding campaign and a licensing deal.

In a press release, Trilobyte Games announced an agreement with Angel Valley Media that will license their IP The 7th Guest for film and television treatments.

The 7th Guest is an interactive movie puzzle adventure game that was released for the PC in 1993. The game was re-released in different systems and in mobile devices recently.

Angel Valley Media will be working alongside the developer to give players a new look into the game's world with new characters and storylines. Additionally, the press release also revealed a new crowdfunding campaign for the next installment in the series called The 7th Guest 3: The Collector via Crowdtilt.

"Trilobyte Games chose CrowdtiltOpen due to its flexibility. Instead of a one-size-fits-all solution, CrowdtiltOpen gives developers the ability to ‘own’ their crowdfunding platforms and to customize campaigns to meet the unique needs of their games," it reads.

Hopefully, this campaign will be more successful with a smaller goal and budget since their first try on Kickstarter did not meet its goal.
