The Sims 4 Is Receiving A Paranormal Pack This Month

January 13, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Get spooked.

The Sims is a life simulation video game from development studio Maxis and over the years we’ve seen several installments released. Currently, the latest mainline installment in The Sims 4 which came out in 2014 but like other installments to this franchise there is a ton of packs and DLC release to give players even more content to chew through. The latest pack coming out is a bit out of season for time.

This month we’ll be getting a Paranormal pack for players to dive into and strangely we didn’t receive this a few months ago during October. Regardless, it’s the first pack to hit The Sims 4 in 2021. As you can likely tell from the name this pack is all about hauntings. In this game players will find that there are new Haunted House lots, new ghostly spirits, along with some new skills that your Sims could perfect.

For instance, players can become a Medium and can even get an official Paranormal Investigator license. From there you’ll also get to decor your home with some spooky objects or simply gather friends to perform a seance. It might not be the season for Halloween but players can still get into the spooky spirit.

Much like other packs and DLC released for The Sims 4, players can expect the Paranormal Pack to hit the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms on January 26, 2021. Likewise, you’ll find that this pack will only set you back about $9.99. As mentioned, The Sims 4 came out in 2014 so it might not be too far off now before we start getting news about The Sims 5, but at least we’ll have some new content to enjoy this year with the latest mainline iteration.
