Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Offers Free Week Of Zombies Mode

January 13, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Enjoy the latest Zombies iteration.

Call of Duty is an iconic franchise that receives an annual release with the latest being based around the Call of Duty: Black Ops sub-series. While the installment has been around for a while, there’s still plenty of fans who likely have yet to dive into the installment, but if you’re left without the game then you’ll at least get a chance to dive into the Zombies game mode for free this week. Best of all, you get a pretty lengthy experience with the mode.

I’m sure you are all familiar with the Zombies mode by now. It’s a game mode that throws players against a wave of undead Nazi zombies with the map slowly opening up new areas for players to go through. It’s also filled with different goals to complete, but others have simply enjoyed the challenge of getting further into the waves of undead zombies. At any rate, the game mode for this latest installment will be free for players to enjoy for a week.

Starting on January 14, 2021, players can download Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode from the Battle.net client or through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Afterward, you have until January 21, 2021, to enjoy the undead game mode. It could be enough time to enjoy this game mode to determine if the title is worth purchasing afterward.

At any rate, if you haven’t played this game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War tosses players into the Cold War era. This is set during the early 1980s where the main storyline seems to follow a black operation with CIA officer Russell Adler as he attempts to track down and take out a believed soviet spy known only as Perseus. With that said, fans of the Black Ops franchise will also see some returning faces from the IP such as Frank Woods.
