Sony Online Entertainment has delayed the rollout of its All Access pass until April 29th in order to allow for additional testing to take place before launch.
Players who opt for the pass will have access to DC Universe Online, PlanetSide 2, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, Wizardry Online, and eventually EverQuest Next and EverQuest Landmark as well for a single fee of $14.99 per month. Discounts are available for those opting for three, six, and twelve month subscriptions.
The news was announced in an update on the SOE forums from community manager Collette 'Dexella' Murphy which reads:
"In an effort to ensure that the transition to the new All Access membership plan is as seamless as possible, we are going to be taking a little more time to test. So, we will be pushing the launch date of All Access to Tuesday, April 29th.
"Because of the portfolio-wide nature of this plan, this may prevent us from doing any individual game updates in EverQuest, EverQuest II, Planetside 2, and DC Universe Online. These updates will resume normally after the All Access launch. We appreciate your patience and you’ll agree that our new membership offering is worth the wait."
SOE recently announced open world zombie survival MMO H1Z1 but it's unclear whether the All Access pass will cover that game as well.
