Diablo 3: Tyrael’s Dialog to be Toned Down in Upcoming Patch

April 23, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Tyrael’s talkativeness will be getting toned down in an upcoming patch.

tyrael

Tyrael and his Horadric friend are familiar sights to anyone who plays Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls in Adventure Mode, where they are present at the center of each quest hub.

They also have a tendency to talk way too much, especially with Tyrael’s overzealousness in sharing his struggles as a mortal.

Fortunately for everyone who’s grown weary of Tyrael’s dialogue, Blizzard intends to implement a fix that will reduce the amount of chatter so you’ll hear him talk less frequently, and with much greater variety.

The game’s community manager Nevalistis posted a brief update on the official battle.net forums with news of the update. There’s no word on exactly when the patch will be released, however. The same patch is also expected to fix elemental weapon damage, which has been broken since the Diablo 3 beta.

We’ll keep you updated on Tyrael’s struggles as a mortal as it happens.
