Dragon Age: Inquisition Won’t Have Colored Endings

Producer Cameron Lee assures BioWare fans that DA:I that they’ve learned from their mistakes.

In a recent interview done by CVG, Dragon Age: Inquisition producer Cameron Lee answered questions about the upcoming game. The main highlight of the interview occurs when Lee discussed the infamous three coloured ending controversy that plagued Mass Effect 3.

When asked if DA:I will be the game that will be BioWare's return to form, Lee answered that he joined the developer when they started on the latest Dragon Age game. Therefore, he can say that he has the perspective of a BioWare player as well so he believes that he has an idea of what people want in the next game.

He acknowledges that people weren't happy with Mass Effect 3's ending and certain aspects of the second Dragon Age game. Lee assures players that his job as producer is to represent the players and make a game that they will love. 

"So I'm well aware of the types of things that they would like to see. A lot of the Dragon Age people in particular want to be given choices that will actually have a big impact. We absolutely will do that. We guarantee that that's going to be the case on multiple fronts and at multiple times throughout the game," he tells the website.

In addition to improving party synergy in combat and creating a more epic setting, the interview ends with an optimistic note with Lee summing things up as: "I think those things are all things that people are talking about when they talk about a return to form. And, of course, don't have colored endings, right? We certainly don't have colored endings."

Check out newly-released details about the Digital Deluxe edition of the game's PC version. A new gameplay trailer was also released today.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on October 7th, 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
