Kayne West is quite a popular and famed individual. He’s been in several industries both as an iconic music artist, fashion designer, to even a candidate for the United States presidency. However, what you might not know is that Kayne was interested in a partnership with Nintendo. There was an impromptu meeting during an E3 event a few years ago.
While you all are likely aware of Kayne West for his music and fashion, you might not know just how far his entrepreneurial endeavors go. Recently, former Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime spoke on a podcast about a past E3 encounter. It was during this annual event that the Nintendo of America president along with famed video game developer, Shigeru Miyamoto, was at the Nintendo booth when Kayne West popped in. During this encounter, the artist expressed his desire to partner with Nintendo to bring out a video game idea into the market.
This leads to Kayne inviting the Nintendo of America president to his office where Kayne and his wife, Kim Kardashian, sat down for a video game pitch. There weren’t any details as to what exactly this game was about, but Reggie had to let Kayne know that Nintendo was currently filled up on projects and that the company strives to only deliver the very best. In fact, Shigeru Miyamoto made a comment recently about the amount of attention that goes into his work as he strives for the best. That motivated Kayne, even more, to work with Nintendo, but as you know that never happened.
I’m not sure what this video game project was about, but there was another Kayne West video game that was in production a few years back. If you don’t recall, Kayne was working on an iOS title called Only One which was based around his mother Donda West as she made her way to heaven. That game never came out and it’s uncertain if it’s a project still potentially in the works or not.
