DayZ developer Bohemia Interactive has hired a new support lead to tackle some of the issues affecting the game.
Producer Brian Hicks announced the news on Twitter:
Good news everyone – we've hired a Support Lead – who will be able to address issues ranging from crashes, to characters, and beyond.

Hicks also revealed that DayZ's experimental servers would be reset every two hours:
All experimental servers should be restarting every 2 hours, FYI

News of the new hire comes after DayZ's creator, Dean Hall, announced earlier this year that he is intending to leave Bohemia to found an indie studio in his native New Zealand. Hall did say he won't leave DayZ in a lurch at a critical time of development, however.
The DayZ Standalone Steam Early Access version sold one million copies during its first month. There's more information on Bohemia's future plans for DayZ Standalone here.
