There will be a wide variety of romance options available to players in the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition from BioWare, we have learned.
Whereas in previous games players had only a single type of romantic option with 4 available characters, Inquisition will allow players to fall for a rival, fool around with a friend, and more. The romances are set to be more believable than previous games have allowed for.
The news about the game’s romance options comes from a blogger, LadyInsanity, who attended the Dragon Age: Inquisition event at PAX East this past week.
BioWare confirmed at the event that players will be able to romance Cullen, as well as Cassandra Pentaghast, who serves as one of the player’s party companions. There will be nine companions altogether, although it is unknown which of them (aside from Cassandra) the player will be able to date.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will release this fall on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
