Soda Drinker Pro May Be Xbox One’s 1st Major Indie Announcement

Indie Soda Drinker Pro has surprisingly stepped it up this PAX East, as the 1^st major indie game announced for the Xbox One.

As implied, the game has you drinking soda, and apparently with the Xbox One’s Kinect, you will be able to drink real soda to meet the game challenges. Soda Drinker Pro currently has 100 levels, but this version will have new exclusive ones. This includes ‘Drinking Soda Through Time’, a quest which has you time traveling through different sodas. Still, it will have the original PC game’s bells and whistles, including Vivian Clark, a platforming minigame set inside a storyline dream state.

Developer Will Brierly promises the game will run 1080p, 60FPS, although we doubt fans will take them to task for not meeting these performance benchmarks. Frankly, the game appears very offbeat, but maybe that’s why this announcement is getting the attention that it is.
