Magic 2015—Duels of the Planeswalkers Skipping Playstation For Xbox And Mobile

April 11, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Is it good enough to give Hearthstone a run for it’s money? We’ll see soon enough.

Magic The Gathering has unveiled their latest game, and surprisingly this one is passing over Playstation platforms for this year. Magic 2015 – Duels of the Planeswalkers will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, Steam, Google Play, iOS App Store, and Amazon Apps.

The trailer’s tagline is ‘Hunt Bigger Prey’, and prominently displayed on the trailer is Garruk Wildspeaker, the imposing warrior-druid planeswalker. Wildspeaker is an imposing and powerful man, and of course, he makes for a powerful card. This time, you are his next prey.

We don’t have a release date or gameplay yet, but they are apparently planning to show something this PAX East. Hopefully, it’s enough to give Hearthstone a run for its money. Wizards of the Coast itself develops the Duels of the Planeswalkers games. You can check out the official announce trailer below.
