Titanfall is Getting Private Matches in a New Update Today

April 10, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new update inbound for Titanfall will add private matches to the game.

Respawn Entertainment has announced that Titanfall will be getting a major patch today, which includes private matches, and an update to the Gooser Challenge.

Update: Details about the patch can now be found here.

The developer promised that private lobbies would come after the game’s initial release, and it appears to be making good on it. The update should allow players, especially those in clans and other close-knit communities to form their own private matches and play among friends without the intrusion of pubbies.

If you’re wondering what the Gooser Challenge is, it’s killing a pilot in mid air after they eject from their Titan.

It’s hard to say what else the developer intends to update with the patch, so we’ll keep you inform as the news becomes available.
