UPDATE TWO: The Last of Us Remastered has appeared for pre-order on Amazon and the listing states that the title will include all DLC released for the game.
Amazon says:
"The Last of Us has been rebuilt for the PlayStation 4 system. Now featuring full 1080p, higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, in addition to several other gameplay improvements."
UPDATE ONE: In a statement to Mashable, Sony confirmed The Last of Us Remastered edition: "SCEA can confirm The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4, and we'll be sharing more details with you shortly."
ORIGINAL STORY: The Sony Entertainment Network website has listed The Last of Us Remastered for PS4.
There has been much speculation about the game and it now seems that it is indeed official. The Last of Us Remastered will cost $59.99 but the pre-order link currently leads to a dead page.
A Turkish PlayStation representative said last month that the game is being readied for release this Summer. Spanish retailer Xtralife has also listed 'The Last of Us Complete Edition' for PS4 but the page has since been removed. Xtralife gave the game a June 19th release date.
Sony announced in March that sales of The Last of Us had reached six million and the title broke records for PS3 exclusive games. Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann has hinted that releasing the game on PS4 is possible but wouldn't give a firm commitment on whether or not it will.
We'll update this story if and when Sony comments on the listing.
