Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor PC Requirements Revealed

The official page of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has gone live on Steam’s page and it details its PC requirements.

The Steam page of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor went live today and it detailed the game's minimum and recommended PC system requirements.

Minimum: 



OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8

Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 | AMD Radeon HD 6950

DirectX: Version 11

Network: Broadband Internet connection

Hard Drive: 25 GB available space



Recommended: 



OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8

Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 | AMD Radeon HD 7970

DirectX: Version 11

Network: Broadband Internet connection

Hard Drive: 40 GB available space

It appears that the game may need more than an average desktop or budget laptop to run at minimum capacity. However, we have yet to see if this is a type of game that would look more beautiful on the Windows PC platform. Check out the eight minute gameplay footage we posted months before to get an idea of how it looks.

Recently, we reported on the game's Nemesis A.I systems that enables enemies to remember a player's action and thus influences future encounters. Additionally, Monolith is keen on focusing more on the game's Xbox One and PS4 ports. 

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be released on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 for $59.99
