Kingdom Under Fire II Gets Gorgeous New 60 FPS Trailer

April 7, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Get a great new look at the setting of the hybrid RTS / RPG / MMO.

We have a new trailer for you for Kingdom Under Fire 2, the latest MMO from Blueside. The trailer is in glorious 60 FPS, and comes with a few screenshots as well.

Blueside’s latest media push provides us with a view of the backdrops in the game, the cities and open fields. Out in the wild, you will be able to explore, hunting down wild animals and gathering materials for crafting. PVP and cooperative activities will also play out here. There is also a raid feature players can enjoy together. Via open map portals, players can also find mission maps, which are essentially randomly generated dungeons, to play with others in.

Each city, and the open area surrounding it, have their own features, and really, their own personality. For example, Accolade, the main human base, is relatively peaceful, so it and the surrounding Crossroad Heights are a great place to start for beginners.

In contrast, Sunstruck, the main city of Hexter, is the home of Ogres and Orcs. Sunstruck and the Windstone fields are a harsh environment and not an area you want to explore casually.

Now, this isn’t in the trailer, but Blueside has also revealed a new area in KUF2; Drenorth, the refuge of the Exiles. These Exiles escaped from Encablossa, the God of Darkness, and are not fond of Bersian mercenaries, such as those you will be playing in the game.

Interesting stuff so far. Kingdom Under Fire II is tentatively scheduled for release in the middle of the year for Windows, and somewhere middle or late 2014 for Playstation 4.
