We have new information on the next Naruto game from CyberConnect2, Naruto Storm Revolution. Shonen Jump has confirmed that Shisui Uchiha will be part of the game, as a playable character in free battle mode, and also as part of the story, particularly in anime cutscenes.
The preview promises to tell Shisui’s story, but let’s go through what we know from the anime, since the game promises to reveal new details. Shisui is the elder brother of former supporting character turned antagonist Sasuke, also known as Shisui the Teleporter. He was one of the most talented members of his clan, with a particularly powerful ability to control others.
He was remembered as a brave and loyal ninja, who was believed to have drowned himself after the Konoha police found a suicide note near the river. However, it would later come to light that Shisui faked his suicide in the fallout of an encounter with Danzo Shimura. Danzo managed to take his right eye, and so to keep Danzo from taking his other eye and gaining more power, Shisui ran away from ninja society.
