Can’t wait for Final Fantasy 15? What about Kingdom Hearts 3? If this translation rings true, both games may have a presence in E3.
This was what was teased by Square Enix CEO and President Yosuke Matsuda, in an interview with Japanese site Nikkei Trendy. He also dropped hints about other games, including upcoming titles Final Fantasy Agito and Seiken Densetsu: Rise of MANA, the Nosgoth beta, and the prerequisite Tomb Raider sequel already under production.
What are the chances that Final Fantasy 15 is even showing up on E3 though? DemonNite, who claims to be a Sony developer, has said that Sony’s E3 for this year will be a ‘tight fit’ if they did squeeze it in, so it’s hard to say if it will push through, but it’s not impossible. It would certainly be a welcome addition, especially for those long suffering fans who have been waiting on it since 2006.
Getting back on topic, Final Fantasy 15 promises to be filled with piano based soundtracks, courtesy composer Yoko Shimomura. This really is not a surprise, and considering where you stand, this is great or boring news.
Having had to bypass an entire gaming generation, it cannot be underestimated how high expectations are for Final Fantasy 15, and Kingdom Hearts 3 as well, of course. Both games are planned for release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you up to date when more information on both games is revealed.
