The latest system software update for the Wii U is now available and has been detailed on Nintendo's official support page. Update 4.1.0 offers slight improvements to the console's system stability.
Aside from stability improvements update 4.1.0 brings "other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience."
This is the first update to the Wii U since update 4.0.0 which was released last September. That firmware introduced several new features, including the ability to output the display of original Wii games to the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen and the option to automatically download demos of software through SpotPass.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has seen internal support drop as a result of three consecutive years of losses and it was reported earlier today that there's a small chance he might be voted off the company's board of directors at the company's General Meeting in June.
