Battlefield 4: Naval Strike is rolling out on the PC today for gamers with Premium subscriptions to the game, developer DICE has announced. Here’s the latest Battlelog update:
“UPDATE 3/31: Battlefield 4 Naval Strike is starting to roll out for Premium members on PC today. We look forward to seeing you on the Battlefield!”
Battlefield 4: Naval Strike was supposed to come out last week, but its developer decided to delay the release of the multiplayer expansion after discovering an undisclosed issue. MP1st reports that the issue may have been a recently discovered security exploit that was directly linked to the game’s Commander Mode, which caused servers to crash when executed.
In any case, the expansion includes four new maps, five new weapons, two new gadgets, a new vehicle, and a new Carrier Assault game mode.
