Here’s Mass Effect Running in Unreal Engine 4

March 27, 2014 by Josiah Renaudin

Mass Effect 4 this is not, but the dance moves of these Unreal Engine 4 characters are off the charts.

Mass Effect is a visually interesting series. The space opera that debuted on the Xbox 360 is brimming with unique galactic races, futuristic weaponry, and technology that we’ll never see in our lifetime. So, instead of viewing all these assets through the lens of last-generation technology, why not taking a look at BioWare’s product running on Unreal Engine 4?

YouTuber reznoire has imported Mass Effect assets Epic’s latest engine, and for the most part, it’s pretty damn impressive. All the dance moves being performed are equally as mesmerizing, so if you’re ready to watch two minutes of the funky future, take a gander at the video above.

We continue to hear hints about the setting and narrative of Mass Effect 4, but concrete details have been hard to come by. All we can really hope for is dancing aliens in Unreal Engine 4.
