With just hours away from the release of Diablo 3’s first expansion pack, Reaper of Souls, the game’s community manager Nevalistis showed up on Reddit’s r/diablo sub-forum to reveal that new portraits for Paragon levels beyond level 100 will be added to the game in the near future.
The request for high Paragon level portraits has been, thus far, one of the most popular requests in the Diablo 3 community since patch 2.0 dropped.
Here’s what he wrote:
This is a request the community has been making since the announcement of endless Paragon levels. I’m happy to share that we’re currently working on adding new Paragon portraits in the future, and we’re planning on implementing them in an upcoming patch. 🙂
New Paragon Portraits will be added for every 100 levels past level 100, and ending at level 800 (so at 200, 300, etc.). All existing Paragon portraits from 1-100 will remain as they are.
Between this and the buffing of Resplendent chests, D3 players will have a lot to be pleased about.
