With the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the PlayStation 4, publisher Square Enix has announced (via PS Blog) what you’ll be receiving when you apply as a subscriber to the game.
Here are the benefits for subscribing to FFXIV on the PlayStation 4:
New Main Scenario Quests, continuing your story.
Two new raids.
Housing.
New Dungeons.
New Dungeon Hard Modes.
New primals to fight: Leviathan and Good King Moggle-Mog XII.
A new difficulty for primal fights, Extreme Mode.
Player versus Player Combat.
Treasure Hunts.
New factions (Beast Tribes) with Daily Quests.
Tons upon tons of new quests of all kinds.
New customisation options for your characters.
Tons of optimisations and new features for the game.
Square Enix has also stated that you won’t even need to be a subscriber to PlayStation Plus to play the game.
The next beta phase of the game will run from April 4 to April 7, with users being able to carry over their characters from the beta phases to the full game, which launches on April 14.
