Ubisoft Releases System Requirements for ‘Stunning’ Watch Dogs on PC

March 11, 2014 by Josiah Renaudin

Watch Dogs is going to look impressive on the PC, according to the game’s creative director.

If you have a modern PC with the capability to run new games on their highest settings, Ubisoft promises that you’ll be impressed with the PC version of Watch Dogs. The open-world project that’s set to launch this May is a visual stunner on its highest settings, creative director Jonathan Morin has said on Twitter.

"PC on very high setting is REALLY stunning if you ask me," Morin said, responding to a fan concerned over the PC version of the game.

The official recommended system requirements are yet to be released, but Morin has come out with what players will need at a minimum to run the title. These can be found below.

Official Watch Dogs Minimum PC System Requirements:

·         Processor: IntelCore 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMDPhenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz

·         Memory: 6GB RAM

·         Video card: 1024 VRAM DirectX 11 Shader 5.0

·         Sound Card: DirectX9

·         Hard drive: 25 GB

If you’re looking for a new game to push that expensive PC, know that Watch Dogs will be available on current and next-gen platforms May 27. The Wii U version, on the other hand, will take quite a bit longer.
