Nintendo Europe has revealed both the Limited Edition Bundle for Mario Kart 8, as well as preorder bonuses.

The highly awaited title will be coming in a box with a special bonus: a replica Blue Shell, also popularly known as the Spiny Shell. The Blue Shell’s abilities have varied across the games it’s appeared in, even in Mario Kart, but one thing is constant; it is an unstoppable force of nature that tears down everything in its past until it strikes whoever is number one in the race itself.
For Mario Kart 8 the Blue Shell isn’t donning its familiar wings, but it may still simulate flying movement, since that’s how it operated in the last Mario Kart game.

Europe is also getting some special preorder items: Bullet Bill, Red Shell, and Golden Mushroom keychains. I’d be genuinely surprised if this wasn’t on the way to the US as well. Mario Kart 8 is scheduled for release May 30 in US and Europe. You can see the Limited Edition trailer below.
