Valve has Greenlit another 50 titles today, offering them worldwide distribution via the Steam platform. Among the titles that have been Greenlit include 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker 2, and Prison Tycoon Alcatraz. Not exactly top of the line stuff.
According to the publisher, the games were selected on the same criteria they've been using in the past: Votes in Greenlight providing them with a "hugely valuable point of data" in gauging the community's interest in the games, as well as external factors such as press reviews, crowd-funding successes, performance on other platforms, and awards and contests.
