Sony Online All Access Pass Delayed by Two Weeks

February 28, 2014 by Stephen Daly

SOE head John Smedley says the pass is now expected to launch on April 16th.

Sony Online Entertainment studio head John Smedley has announced that the All Access Pass for its games will now be released on April 16th instead of April 2nd.

On Twitter, Smedley said yesterday:

Looking like new membership plans will go live around 4/16 instead of 4/2. Lots of stuff to finish

— John Smedley (@j_smedley) February 27, 2014

The All Access Pass was announced last month and allows the company's fans to gain access to all of Sony Online's Windows PC games for $14.99 a month with discounts for users who take out three, nine, and 12month subscriptions.

DC Universe Online, PlanetSide 2, Dragon's Prophet, EverQuest, and EverQuest 2, are all among the games which are covered by the All Access Pass along with Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, which is closing on July 31st. Sony Online intends to expand the All Access Pass to include the upcoming EverQuest Next and EverQuest Next Landmark.
