Nordic Games has announced that Darksiders 2 will be returning to the European Wii U eShop.
The game has been absent from the store since Nordic bought the rights to the Darksiders franchise from THQ during that company's bankruptcy proceedings.
In a press release Nordic commented:
"Yes, they do still exist: amazing games for the WiiU! With an average rating of 85 (according to Metacritic.com), Darksiders 2 is one of the most highly rated Wii U games ever."
The Wii U re-release will include the Argul's Tomb, Death Rides, Angel of Death, Shadow of Death, and Deadly Despair DLCs.
Earlier this month Nordic Games announced that they will be releasing a Darksiders Collection, which includes the original game and its sequel, for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 during the April to June quarter. Nordic has yet to announce any additional games in the franchise, however.
