Facepalm Games’ The Swapper was one of the most interesting PC indie titles of 2013, which means that Sony likely had a close eye on the puzzle project throughout all of last year. The PlayStation maker has been snapping up any creative piece of downloadable software that garners critical buzz and today, the company has announced that The Swapper will be making its way to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita in May.
The original developers are working with Curve Studios to bring this critically lauded project to just about every PlayStation platform under the sun. It might not be a technical powerhouse, but The Swapper makes use of handcrafted art and clay models to populate the world with beautiful scenery. That, as you’d guess, should look stunning on the PS4 as well as the Vita’s OLED screen.
It’s another major indie move by Sony, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the game when it launches in late May.
