South Park: The Stick of Truth won’t be the same game for everyone. The comical RPG based on Comedy Central’s long-running TV show will see a few scenes censored in the EMEA version of the game. The review guide was leaked by European press (via NeoGAF), which clearly states that a few 20-second moments were removed for the sake of marketing.
Those in North America will be able to play the game as intended on the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 next week, but the below image shows what will be removed for other players.
At some point, I think we should just be happy that the game is actually going to be on store shelves. But censorship is rarely, if ever, a “good” thing, so it’s unfortunate that some excited fans won’t be getting the full-bodied experience.
