This was quite the hyped-up year. We knew a ton of anticipated video game titles were launching this year along with the fabled next-generation platforms from both Sony and Microsoft. However, early on into 2020 things took a turn for the worse. The entire world was forced and at quite frankly still forced to endure a health pandemic outbreak known as the coronavirus. While the world has certainly changed things around drastically, we are still seeing some big announcements and launches.
Sure, we may not have the in-person events and expos that we can attend such as E3, but to make up for those missing events, we’re seeing several online streams take place. In fact, some conferences have been drawn out a whole lot longer with the likes of Microsoft doing monthly streams and even Ubisoft throwing together streams of their own known as Ubisoft Forward. We had one stream so far from Ubisoft and it was full of new trailers and announcements from the company.
At the end of the stream, we were told that a second Ubisoft Forward was going to happen at some point later this year. It wasn’t very long now that we got confirmation on when we can expect the second Ubisoft Forward. Reported by IGN, we know that Ubisoft Forward will happen again sometime in September, although no specific release date was attached on just when in September we would see this event happen.
For now, it looks like we may see some other notable video game titles that were missing from the first Ubisoft Forward make their own appearance. Some of the games that we didn’t get any information on include Beyond Good And Evil 2, Skull & Bones, along with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine. Of course, for now, all we can do is wait and see just what Ubisoft has planned for this event.
